CIRCUS SARASOTA - ALIVE AND WELL in Circus City. I have worked many Circus Sarasota Dress Rehearsals and last nights Dress Rehearsal Rates The Greatest Yet. No doubt the Kinker Crowd is the hardest to work in front of. And last nights full house was the greatest..DOLLY JACOBS, Queen of the Air did and should have received a standing Ovation, but get ready for the last act. THE WHITE CROWS - Not only received one standing ovation but two. These great Russian barre specialist of Russian, Canadian and German lineage among five silver clown (second place) winners at last years January's 31st Monte Carlo Festival. In all my years of at least eight Dress Rehearsals out of eleven years of Circus Sarasota I have never seen a Dress Rehearsal crowd like last nights. I look forward to opening night Fri.,Feb. 1st tonight and see the TOWNERS reaction to what will be one of Pedro Reis ten years of Circus Sarasota. Now through February 24th. I would like to add to Pedro and Dollys long list of accolades. They have done a wonderous thing for the American Circus scene. I reference Circus Sarasota often, in debates, heated or other wise, with our friend's and neighbors "across the water." How about a list of "celebrities" in attendance? I'd ask Buckles but he would probably pad it.

I am proud to say that Danny and I got to run the concession department for Dolly and Pedro two seasons of Circus Sarasota and they are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. The show is always stellar and extremely professional and we really miss being a part of such a wonderful production. All the best to you this 2008 season.
