Dolly Bros. #1 (Photos by Ben Williams)

The only acts I had seen previously were Dolly and Ian Garden and rather than look up the names in the program, I thought it might be more fun to have Mr. De Ritis make a few comments.

The pride of Sarasota and the American Circus scene! Bravo, bravo, bravo!

I always look forward to seeing this classy show. And am so glad to hear that it is also playing another city.
I hope it will develop a tour route over time, and be a fine ambassador of Sarasota.

And there's that trouser leg thing going on again . . .

Hey Bruce,
I have my ex-wife covering the "early" years right now. I don't think I need you reminising about the day's of wine and roses on Vargas.

P.S. Pat Cashin,
Check that Lifetime Achievement list for me. Did I put Bruce's name down?

What to say?...It looks a classy, fine show as calssic one-ring circus must be.
If I can recognize: the juggler must be Serge Percelly, one of the best around; the clown look as Jimmy Folco, one of the many Larible clones but a good one; the russian bar you talk about corresponds to the swiss White Crow (last year Montecarlo silver), that is exceptional. I know the web-dog act too (several russians are doing it today), that is really fun.
It is great that circus city Sarasota can witness such a good show.

Congratulations and all the best to the producers!

I neglected to mention the Smirnoff's, a quick change act that I saw a few years ago in Baraboo. A real crowd pleaser.
My only criticism was that with only two aerial acts (Dolly's straps and a single web) you entered an arena completely barren.
Of course, the quality of the ground acts more than made up the difference.

The juggler is not Serge Percelly but a copy of his amazing act. Serge is no more performing.

The acrobats on picture #8 are "Crazy Flight" from Ukraine.

To Wade--
Just one story? Wasn't it your dog that ate Vince Carman's duck?

Or am I the only one who remembers that . . . ?

And I'm too young still to have achieved a lifetime . . .

Hey Bruce,
That's how people remember thing's differently sometimes. You say a duck, my dog say's a crazed madman with a knife. I can't stress the benifit's of a great PR department enough.
I hope you are well, my friend.
