In my day [one of the good old days] working for Robert Perry's family, I would have been the subject of negative reinforcement for leaving someone else's dates visible on this stand! Steve Robinson.
hey steve why dont you send some photos of your show to buckles when we arrived in murray bridge in 93 your show in adelaide was as good as any in australia at that time Robert Perry
Nobody's recalled that Quincey, IL, was the winterquarters of Buckles's great ancestor (by marriage), show owner and erstwhile Barnum partner (1886-87) W.W. Cole. And, of course, it was Cole who ran the B&B show for the short time after Bailey's death before it was sold to the Ringlings. Dick Flint Baltimore
i can remember well arriving at the clyde beatty lot from our motel about 6-30 am we were only there about 5 minutes and were offered a job on the tent we told them we travelled 12000 miles to get away from working on tents. was a great experience and i could not believe how fast the US shows move our shows here now about a month in every location. Can that be old Whitey?
I failed to mention that this is another of Robert Perry's pictures however I might add that Ole Whitey is equally as handsome.
Richard's just rattling your chain, Buckles.
He knows that my good looks are only matched by my modesty.
