He first appears in the "P.T. Barnum's New and Greatest Show on Earth" Route Book in 1877:
Page 6- Felix MacDonald, Supt. of Menagerie and elephants
Wm. Newman and Chas. Schule............Elephant Drivers

No further record after the European Tour.

Was he centre ring? In UK the baby elephants usually were because of their "aaahh" factor
