They are pulling out all the stops for this new one. Looks like they will have tigers, elephants and a motorcycle act. |

Ringling Blue has learned a lesson welcome back to the real circus world. Ad looks great..When do tickets go on sale? The best of luck to the NEW BLUE UNIT..
I can't wait for the press release of all the new features "first time in America" of this new production. Guess its hard to top last years show but it looks like they are going "over the top". Wow.
Over the top of what exactly, the Jumbotron?
I don't see any clowns on the poster. I guess there aren't any.
To Anonymous - regarding your comment about no clowns in the 138th edition of RBBB, check out:

To quote Verse 37, Chapter 14 of the Book of Cattywampus:
"Pre-judge not lest you be pre-judged."
Or something like that (altho I'm not certain Ringling Blue is mentioned by name)....

Over the top? Are they refering to the show OR the concession prices?
My fear after looking at the poster is that there will be ONE TIGER, ONE ELEPHANT AND UH UH UH ... Motorcycle riders from Paraquay are a dime a dozen OR $225 a week plus sleeper, so there will be plenty of riders who also double pulling up the rubber on close out.
They didn't mention anything about the Drive In Movie part of the show.
I wonder if they are going to have 3 of those big round things on the floor again? Maybe the band will play something I recognize.
Just think, a gallon of gasoline costs far less than a gallon of popcorn!
A gallon of gas also costs less that a gallon of pop, no matter how you measure it. Maybe we can bring our own food into the sites.
another anonomous.
Glad this is spelled out at the bottom, because I sure wouldn't have been able to spell it.
The poster doesn't say "circus" on it . . .
Is that some sort of Freudian ommision, do you think? Or intentional . . .
I asked that same question a few years back and was told, "Cole Bros. and Carson & Barnes are circuses, we are The Greatest Show on Earth!"
Yes, but a gallon of gas lasts only about 15 min. on the Interstate. A gallon of Pop should be good for a few days!
