Yes, those are two of the ex-WWII ordnance trailers converted to cage use in 1949. And they were painted blue in 1954, though it was a lighter shade than shows up in this photo. They were green in 1955 and ’56.
Note too the Mt. Vernon flat car on the far left. It has the pot belly profile with vertical ribs. This was the last Mt. Vernon on RBBB. It had come off the Barnes show when it went into Sarasota qtrs. at the end of 1938. Actually I do not think RBBB ever ran more than two of these Mt. Vernon’s. The Big One was a Warren flat car user as typified by the other flat in this photo.
