This remarkable picture shows at least 21 elephants in the Barnum & Bailey parade.
The African in the foreground would be "4Paw-Sells Topsy".

There are scads of photos of Africans Mike and Topsy while with Forepaugh-Sells.

If the date on this photo is correct, 1911, then it extends Topsy’s life with B&B somewhat longer than we had thought. There is another photo of her on B&B after a blow down in 1909.
