"Popcorn" Hall is another lady worthy of coverage, skilled as both an actual trainer and presenter. She worked the really tough male tusker Charlie, who also bore the names Rajah, Jumbo II and Columbus at different times. A series of good photographs record her with Charlie. Typed on the back: "Miss Mabel Hall with Columbus, with the Hargreaves Circus. She was billed as "The only lady elephant trainer in the world".
