Cole Bros. Circus 1930's #1

Had a nice chat with Schlarbaum yesterday, he and his band are making a parade this Fall atop the America wagon and he asked if I had any pictures.
While looking thru this Cole Show stuff I was again astonished at what a magnificent array of parade vehicles Adkins and Terrell had assembled.

If I am right , this one would be perfect, that sky board would allow for some serious unimpeded foot-tapping.

Isn't the "America" a steam calliope? Seems strange they would use that wagon. Where and when will this parade be held?

It's great to know that several of these beauties are preserved at CWM.

Perhaps Chuck S. meant the Asia as a bandwagon. The America was remodeled into a steam calliope prior to the 1940 season.

Probably Macy's. I'll have to send some thermal underwear to Covington.

The replica of the United States is likely the wagon in question.
