| With the Barnes Show two years earlier (1922) Babe Gardner appeared in a more modest manner. Probably more funds available for wardrobe with the Corporation. |

What a show of ivory. Sooner or later it would lead one to believe that one would have to have an equal amount of credentials to step into that ring.
A question...Yesterday I was doing some research in old newspapers about Tusko (best headline Atlanta Journal Constitution in January 1932 "What the Rum Demon Did to This Ten-Ton Circus Star."). Anyway in March of '28 the LA Times ran a story on the opening of the Barnes show that said the stars of the menagerie were "The Great Tusko and Tusko, the two largest in Captivity." Please advise. Is it Tusko and Diamond? Diamond and another? Any help appreciated.
You got it. "Tusko" and "Diamond".
