SAVE1347, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. Gentry Bros. Circus calliope 1922, played by Deacon Albright. I was in Peru, IN Saturday and visited the International Circus Hall of Fame......Took some photos of the plaque that shows you were inducted in 2003. Also took some snap shots of Gentry Bros. items......I am going to talk with the Board of Directors after the busy season and plan to possibly donate some of the Gentry Bros items I have or at least copies of some of the items for display there..... Chatted with quite few and all spoke highly of you.......I was thrilled to see the Gentry Bros. Steam Calliope, but disappointed that it was sitting on truck tires and pulled by a truck rather then horses........it was a great parade and lots of fun for the whole family..... We took in a performance at the Hall of Fame under the big top with Pat Kelly and John Fugate among others....Brian Fanzen had Okha there which walked on the ball......family enjoyed it very much......so very traditonal......it was a fun, but long day.....
