Do you know how old Anna May was when your Dad got her? Like most of us have a once in a lifetime dog, she seemed to be your once in a lifetime elephant.Wondering if starting them this young helped or hindered? cc
"Anna May" must have been born around 1946 and was imported to this country in 1949. My dad trainer her the following winter and this began a relationship that lasted for over a half century that ended with her retirement to the Riddle Sanctuary.
It seamed that the importer always said the babies were “about a year”, no mater if they were one month or three years.
