From Gary Payne

To all,

We have already forwarded a full list of Connecticut Legislators for circus fans to contact via phone, Email, FAX. We urge you to get a group of friends together (like we did last night) and try to contact as many as possible. If you need the list again, email ptgcp@aol.com and I will forward you the list.

There are 180+ names on the list....we know it is a big job.

Here is an alternative:

If you feel you have but 10 minutes to spare this campaign....we accept your offer!

Call the House Democrats: 860-240-8500

Call the House Republicans: 860-240-8700

Please re-word the following - do not read it verbatim.....Tell them: I wish to voice strong opposition to HB7019. This bill will prevent the circus from returning to Connecticut and eventually my state as well. It does not benefit animal welfare. It would make proper elephant management, including veterinary care, more difficult and dangerous. The guide is a proven and humane husbandry tool accepted by the USDA. The care and handling of elephants is already subject to animal welfare laws and the intentional mistreatment of any animal is already against the law! I respectfully request that you vote NO to HB7019.

We would like to see 1,000 phone calls between now and May 15! Please forward this Email to everyone you know!

We thank you for your help!
