 Buckles: Elephants BA Zoo pair of young adult Africans and an adult Asian female who I understand is a former circus elephant. Elephants are effectively banned from circuses in Argentina now. What I found strange is that the Asian was laying down the entire time we were at the zoo (about 4 hours). Again my lack of Spanish prevented me from getting any further information. Toby Styles  |

Off the subject, but pie car cook on RBBB did a story reported on circusvern. He gave his ideas on the origin of "Pie Car"
Anyone got anything more authoritative ?
Not to critisize the cook but for historic perspective.
Don't they have Bull Fights down there?
Buckles: No bull fights allowed or at least fights were the bull is deliberaetly injured, I am told these are now only in Spain, Mexico and Columbia. There are a lot of Gaucho Shows and Polo is very big. They are very big into horses a real national passion but some how bridles, bits, spurs and quirts are ok but elephant hook is the devil's own tool.
