RBBB Program 1957

I was on the show in 1957, in fact I saved this program all these years. Quite an experience to see the performance put together and later my first time to see Madison Sq. Garden or even New York City for that matter, having grown up mostly around Mud Shows. It was like Gomer goes to the Big City.

Let me get this straight...You're Gomer? That means Flo White is Aunt Bee, but who plays Andy, Goober and Opee?

Did you load the fishing poles first or last on load-out nights?

Cane Poles to Engine ?

Buckles: This is great- spending some time on the truck years, a somewhat neglected era in the Big Show's history.

In response to Bud's Poles-to-Engine comment: is there a current terminology regarding which end of the train or cut will be spotted at the crossing?
