Parker & Watts Circus 1938-39 #1

Lots of pictures taken of this show despite it only existed for two seasons. It was originally framed in the early '30's by Bud E. Anderson (Seal Bros. Circus) and pictures indicate that it had the nicest rolling stock of the day.
In this case the show had been purchased by Charles Parker and Ira Watts. Why it failed is hard to say, they had a competent staff and a good performance. Taking out a circus in those days of the Great Depression must have been quite an adventure not to mention that all shows then and now are at the mercy of the General Agent and the weather.
