She was a wonderful lady... and we have fond memories of long ago.
We send the family our deepest
sympathy
We were fortunate to work with Trudy from her days with Luvas Duo and then with Pete and Petrova and also her elegant Poodle act with gorgeous props and presentation. I always enjoyed lengthy visits with her during my times of activity at Hanneford quarters. She presented the Grand Dame persona of a great opera or Ballet performer and certainly brought to our shores one of the great aerial presentation of our times. She enjoyed coaching young aerialists. She put her heart and soul into all of her endeavors. It would be interesting to know of her European background and career. I am sure it would be very fascinating. A great lady of the circus.
My condolences and deepest sympathy . . .

I was intimately acquainted with Frau Johann for most of the last 25 yrs of her existence through my being at Hanneford. She was truly a Grand Dame of the circus in America. Her joy was teaching. She embodied the spirit of circus. We all miss her.
Our condolences and sympathy to Pete, Isabele, Tepa and Tavana, and Struppi. She was a Great Lady and teacher.
