Hi Bob Kitto sure miss seeing you on Carson and Barnes but we had a great time in the past cutting up jackpotts. I also have this one in a 1 sheet up right. I think the year was 1933 they used this. I also have this poster in a cardboard window card size and I was told they put these in the high dollar stores that would not let you litho the windows. Uusally there was a small date strip across one corner with all the info on it and they set them on a counter. Heard stories the bill crew hated these and played toss with them off the end of the bill car. If they only knew what they were worth today and they sure the hell could toss how ever many they wanted to throw out my way. Have times changed and if E. J. Kelty only knew what his banquet, 12 by 20 photos are worth today he could have bought the bewery. Harry Kingston
Harry: I'd say "Sailed" rather than "Played Toss." Like with Frisbees of a later day, they'd stand in the vestibule and see how far they could sail these jewels.
I've sent Buckles a picture of what I think the Fiftieth Anniversary poster. I think this one with all seven founders came later than the Fiftieth.

This litho was used in the mid 30's and was probably first used for the Golden Jubilee of the Ringling Show. The on I haved is a one sheet.

Did "recent comments" blow the blog?

I have one of these in window card format from Atlanta in 1939. And the date is on a strip across one of the lower corners.
