On my way to Marineland , I can sure recall visiting the RBBB show in Philadelphia and seeing without a doubt ,I believe undisputetly, the most power house elephant display that I had ever witnessed. As I've stated in the past, I wasn't impressed, I was damned impressed ! This will be a highlight in time that I will treasure. Two thumbs up Mr Woodcock and your crew .
That's a good question. Stewart Craven gets credit for training the first pyramid type acts in the late 1860's. I have early drawings and lithographs but off hand I couldn't say which photograph I have is the earliest.

That's "Minyak" and "Mala" on the bottom. "Josky" and "Barbara" on each end and "Sophie Fox" on top.

what is the oldest photograph you have of elephants doing the Pyramid act?
It dates back to the 1860's I believe.
