Buckles said...: I wondered about that. The Bobby Golden I remember from Sid Kellner's show was the gentleman who discovered Phil and Fran Schacht at one of those California Muscle Beaches.
He framed a Norbu type gorilla act for them but for some reason had the beautiful Fran in the monkey suit.; 22 January, 2007 07:27

As I remeber it he was part of the Muscle Beach,California group
there were a lot of circus guys fromthat area, many of whom came from Bobby Yerkes training
But Wade is correct this is Bill Golden. I believe he preceded Wade with the Hawthorn Cat act and followed Wade with the Carden & Johnson cats; 22 January, 2007 08:04
