Those pictures awakens strong emotions for me...I recall many times in the 80s during my holidays walking with Banda the elephants to the big top as in those pictures...And what a sight was those nine elephants in the ring! After Banda left, was the end of an era for this herd, even if when Patricia took over was the beginning of another one.
It was a time when in the Krone dressing room tent you could share the mirrors and folding chairs with young promising circus boys as Hans Suppmeier, David Larible, Marco and Philip Peters, the flying Bells and Jimenez, Serge Percelly...
Still today, Krone is a temple for top class performers.
