"Sit up straight session"

Quite a debate today on elephant posture. This is one of the last elephants I worked on, ten or twelve years ago on the Ringling Show, they called her "Juliette". I had eight days at the Orlando Fairgrounds for basic training and this is the second spot on tour (Jacksonville) practicing wherever I could. This was taken at the back door of the arena. I have someone stationed behind to prevent the tub from sliding when she backs up to it. If they sit up straight, that's the way they will usually continue pose throughout their careers. I assume she is still with the show.
