Sounds pretty sophisticated for a trade Rex Williams would refer to as "shovelin' shit and hollerin' Steady!"
Has anyone read carol buckleys job application form? Must be willing to sacrifice self when the occasion arrises.
In the list of necessary qualifications three are sadly missing for success of the project and should be SOP in all aspects. Good morale, one for all and all for one and with it and for it. Undoubtably the person who drew up this paper did not know that this is what has been the success of the American circus.
Too bad Smokey isn't around to interview prospective candidates.
Logan could do it quicker.
so ding-a-ling bros has decided to "grow their own"? hmmmmm.
they neglected, however, to mention that the CEC is gender specific - only "ball bearing" creatures need apply. there is no use for the "bushing" variety living/working on that property, aside from being a wife or daughter of an employee (i.e. - stuck there because their husband or father lives/works there.)
it will be interesting to see how this all plays out.
Sandy you would be perfect for the job. I know you have the right bearings" to get the job done. If you wrapped your chest, cut your hair and cursed a lot, walked in elephant shi% you could pass. You could even stand on an elephants head although that might give you away. You would have to ditch the boy friend. Sure he would understand. Go Girl!!
I wonder if you would get extra points for being a member of the Circus Historical Socioty?
Sandy , If you ditch the "RED HEAD" boy friend I get dibbs.
Clown College for the Elephant Department?
I have to ask. How do you guys suggest a person get into caring for elephants? Let me rephrase i want WORK with elephants not shift them from stall to stall in a zoo and not chase them with a ATV o 2000 Acres. I have worked in the zoo industry 10 years two wih elephants. And the industry is based entirly on feelings and not real world animal husbandry. I applaud circus animal people you are probably the last great animal people in this country.
Maybe I should apply. Probably couldn't meet the requirements.
