Do Bones and his elephant still work?

Yes, he does. Mostly rides with his elephant Judy along with camel rides at Ren Fests.

My alledged first meeting with Bones: After a long drive on a winter run we arrived in Cornewall, Ontario for Ian Garden. I stepped into the building late at night, to my delight I see Wayne Ragen (tiger man), I looked the other direction and I saw one female asian and an extremely large ivory toteing bull. Wayne said those belong to Bones Craig. My reply, Who?. I was told he worked for Wally Ross and Rex
Viva the Vargas show. What a character this Bones is I find out later. He claimed that I knew him in his younger days. He then said he had once worked for Max Craig taking care of their livestock during The State Fair of Texas. And then added that he assisted me setting up Gil Gray's equipment for the fair. I took a long look at him and then added, "Are you that dope that used to wear that winter wool cap pulled down over your ears in 100 degree weather?" He replied," That was me!"
Also there was a movie called Animal House, at the very end there's a short shot of an elephant being led in the parade, it was Mr. Craig with an elephant that went by the name of Jackpot, (aka Hardtimes). Bones told me some extremely entertaining stories during that time of his travels. Down the road I saw Bones with a fair size african male, also a younger asian male. A great guy to get to know, I got to visit with him this year. I hadn't seen him since my mother had passed away several years ago.
