Sue your photos are just great and bring the circus to life. No question that the history of the circus with such deep roots in England has been kept alive with such dedicated circus families. You can certainly be proud of your heritage and appreciate your sharing it with us. I note the small ring for the liberty horses and probably due to the size of the stage. Adjustments have to be made to get the job done. I have done along with others and I always laugh about the necessary 42 ft. ring.
