Hannover Zoo in the 1970's

Still more elephant pictures from Filipe von Gilsa of Zoo Wuppertal in Germany. I don't think they come much bigger than these
This is Wolfgang Ramin with "Tembo".

Hi Mack, what a plesant surprise.
As you may have heard, Barbara and I are now in retirement, elephants also retired to a Sanctuary in Arkansas not too far from you.
Spend most of my time on a , hand me down, computer as you can see but my main job is Day Care Attendant and shuttle bus diver, since Shannon and Melissa have four kids ranging from age 9 to 3 months that are dropped off at our place each morning when he goes to work for Bright House and she at Bush Gardens.
Dalilah been with Verizon in Tampa for about eight years now while Ben is driving a gasoline tanker.
If you check out the Archives in the left column and go back maybe a year, you should find a good number of pictures of Mighty Marlowe and Ruben Ray Circus also family shots.
Regards to all, keep in touch.
Buckles

I would wager that this elephant man is taller than me, and that would be a good bet because I’m a short shit. However Elephant Ride George was growing by about 100 pounds a day when he was terrorizing me, he was as tight as a Scottish drum, and when I hugged his front leg I could not touch my fingertips. It was a great milestone in my life when I got George to put his chin to the ground so I could hop on his head and tail up Rebecca and Moodew for Spec. Thank you Buckles, and Gray, for giving me that opportunity to tackle the monsters that life throughs at you from time to time.

What were you doing hugging the elephants leg Little John? Now if it had been "REBECCA" I could understand. My friends were very excited about meeting you later in the month. Sorry I got the park wrong.

The elephant could have been named "TEMBER" as its leggs are like tree trunks. Is that a gland thing on the side of its face?
