Great Pan American Shows 1903 #3

My father wrote on the back of this picture "Ladder wagon used for Capt. Santiago's high dive into a net". The show was loaded so meticulously in the previous picture, yet they allow this contraption to occupy almost the entire flat car if you include the part that overhangs the chariot and band wagon. Something like building a 20 foot casket to bury a python. Probably too complicated to assemble seven times a week.
