Did the long tent to the right house the animals? Where was the Main entrance located?

The public entered from the right and the blue t-shaped structure was the reception tent, especially built to fit in between the tree planters.
In the back area, the barn on the stage was for the horse stables and we kept the elephants in the area in the lower left hand corner.

Buckles,
This is getting away from todays subject, but I felt I had to "clear it" with you before I proceded. I came across a new term on the TES website. It's called "Post tramatic stress syndrome". This term may be useful to all of us, if used properly and not abused. See if you agree with this, as it's how I would like to proceed, using Gypsy as an example. I will blame her on Jim Zyjick, who will blame her on Rex Williams, who would blame her on you. You can blame her on Hugo Schmidt, and Hugo could blame her on the people who captured her. Now here's the key to making this work. Two of those great gentlemen are no longer with us, and I'm assuming her capturer's are no long availabe to defend themselves. I'll blame her on Zyjick, he'll of course have no option except to blame her on you. New if we both point out that he is queer for 6 legged cows, two headed pigs, and other assorted freaks(I'm sure Jimmy Hall will verify this), we can probably make people "assume" she is his fault, and that should square both of us from having any responsibility for her. I don't see any other option except to blame her on Barbara or Eva, but I don't think you want that grief.

"Gyp" is not a good example, I don't think she ever hurt anyone.
The PMS alibi is an effort to avoid any current responsibility or liability.

I thought we could use the term to our advantage, death or other wise. Next time you talk to Col. Herriot, ask him where he told me to "shove" my horse whip. I've excused my action's the past six years,on "post tramatic stress syndrome", steming from that incident.

Buckles, please keep on showing more Big Apple Circus pictures! These are wonderful and I think I can speak for all of us out here, we really enjoy them! Keep them coming. Show us more of your family working and playing.
PS Today's pictures of you, Harold Ronk and Barbara (On Jim's sight)were taken in 2000, is that correct? Was Barbara already retired by then? The little boys must be Shannon's sons?Hope all is well with you and your family.

buckles, sweetie, there is a distinct difference between PMS & PTSD. one is a chick thing & the other is a trauma thing. i thought it right that i explain it to you, as i am the PMS poster child, LOL.

hmmm - upon reflection, maybe you're right. PMS CAN be a traumatic experience to the menfolk exposed to it!

Thanks for setting me straight however the whole argument of either applying to elephants is moot since the attack on Miss Burke and the subsequent attack on Mr. Blais have both been demed accidents by the Tennessee Fish & Game.
Don't you think a "dual personality" would have been more apprepriate?

Sorry elephantsandy. I am the empress of PMS. Any thing alive knows that for a fact. When they see PMS they think Dutchess. As I am almost 15 years older than you I had a head start. I have a T shirt that says I suffer from P M S / Putting up with Mens Shit.
