Downie Bros. Circus

This show was one of the earliest successful truck shows and toured from 1926 thru 1939, the last eight years owned by Charlie Sparks. This currier is dated 1929 when Downie still owned the show.
My Dad once said that when he was with Sells-Floto the standing joke about these up and coming Mud Shows was that at least they didn't have to pay the Railroads to move and in a pinch, all they had to do was siphon gas out of some Suckers car to get to the next town.
