Ringling Park #3


This is one of several times the park was shut down temporarily while expansions were made. That's our theater going up in the background sometime in 1975 or 76.
Rex Willams sold his rhino and while he was making the delivery down to Mexico we baby sat his elephants. For some reason Chappie wanted his picture taken with Rex,s two males "Gardner" and "Reed".

One of the animal wrong persons made a smart crack on Circus News about my not being able to keep my elephants straight. Now I don'r feel so bad as their names are changed almost yearly. I thought they stayed the same.
