Opening of the Mills Show in Spring in Ashtabula, Ohio was counted as one of the biggest fan events of year with conventions, circus parade, RBBB opening. Usually near two hundred fans. Stayed at Jefferson Hotel. Cleveland fans, lead by John Boyle would provide food. Plenty of drink thru the night. Some mischief. Benny Kronberger had a guy making popcorn on a hotplate in a waste paper basket. Cliff Gotzbach kept on tryiny to do magic. Manager came up often to silence crowds in hall and finally just got drunk..Paulring
