Buckles Blog V4.0
After the V3 fiasco - I found out that about 30% of the viewers have smaller monitor screens and the 3 Column format was not going to work for them. So it was back to the drawing board I went.

Check out the test site --> BUCKLES TEST SITE <---

This layout is different the sidebar is on the left. From top to bottom the features are:

Background image - I thought this picture works great.
Google Search Bar - For internet searches or if you click the button - it will search Buckles Blog
Recent Comments - This was a tough hack on the original web site. It's great at a glance you can see posted to what recently. So it's back by popular demand.
Visitors - This is a cute Cluster map of where the viewers of the web site are from. If you click it it will open another page and show a larger map.
Subscribe - This was confusing to some. So I will explain it again. If you enter your E-Mail address, you will receive a confirmation message. One you confirm, you will get a daily email of the posts to this website. It makes a great way to save the posts. Emails go out over night. So if dad post 1 or 10 messages in one day - that evening they will be sent via E-Mail to those that have subscribed.
XML - Site Feed. This is a bit more complicated. Just do a search for "News feed"
Archives - To quickly jump back to previous posts
Links - Links to favorite sites
Retirement Fund Maker - This Ad along with the one at the top and the Search bar - there is a little kick back action. Hence known as "Retirement Funds"

On my computer screen it is showing three columns with the right column all black with no photos or text. Is it soppose to be like that?
I like the large photos and text size on the current site.
Great site--I enjoy looking at it daily.

Maria - Yes, the right column will be black and empty - if you have a large monitor you will see that - what happens is about 30% of the poeple out there do not have such large monitors and will not see that.

This is the best format for all viewers - low or high video resolutions.
