Mr. Griebling was another Circus Clown that was an extremely well styled charactor. He also fit into that " Ol'e Circus Tent Show Realm " so perfectly. He prevailed the transformation into the indoor arenas ( for me )even more outstandingly; his charactor having a more " powerful contrast " , to the more modern life style and its environment. Another true performing " ARTIST " master !
Kenneth Waite usually wore a flat hat but that's him. Horace Laird was the mail man. I remember Mark Anthony was on the show for while one year. I was fascinated by his wood carvings. The outside prop crew put up a clown dressing room top each day but for some reason Otto, Freddy and Horace were in the men's dressing room.
Buckles; RE. Mark Anthony, I met him in 1977. He showed me many ( dozens ) of interesting small sculptures that he hand carved in wood & painted. I especialy recall, I felt; he was actualy " living in a pleasnt DREAM ". He was so at ease, very kind and clever minded. Do you have any photos and tales of his Circus Carrier ?

GREAT picture of Otto but are you sure that's Kenneth Waite? He's got the right build but I've never seen him in a makeup like that.
Could be Kenneth earlier in his career.
He doesn't look old enough to be Horace Laird, whose makeup that looks the most like to me.
And, once again Bud, you are dead on the money!

The clown on the right is Jack Kennedy. He was with Cole Brothers for many years.
