Al G. Barmes/ Parade carriages #1


Had a problem with the Browser to today, what ever that is, it took Shannon quite a while to get me back in action. Something about re-booting something.
Anyway here is picture #1 finally.

Very nice rig. Was it because there were so many farms back then that cows were not used as much as other animals? Now a days it would be a rarety and very interesting to watch. We don't even have parades anymore. Long horn cows pulling a small covered wagon would go over real big also. I thought you were having weather problems this morning.

Isn't this a Zebu, or some sort of exotic cattle?

I think they were referred to as"sacred Bulls" and were quite poular in the late nineteenth century.
