Mighty Haag Show 1901

I came across this picture and all my dad had written on the back was "1901 Winter Quarters- Haag Shows".
I think the Haag Show came out of Shreveport at the time. In any event this is quite an estate.

Wow! I was looking through your site at the historical circus pictures, and had no idea I'd run across this. I know the current owner of this house - don't know the status after the hurricane (Rita), but I am sure it's still in fine condition. The owners are restoring this house lovingly to it's original glory - there's a spectacular garden around it now. They may allow visitors to tour the outside and the gardens on the tour of homes.
So cool..

I found a similar picture among my mother's collection of old family photos. It reads "Circus Winter Home" on the back with no date, and shows additional houses and horses/buggies lined up to the left. Ernest Haag is my first cousin 3 times removed. (my great great grandmother's first cousin).
