All acts not in photos however trying to remember the run down. Winn's motorcycle ramp jumps, Next, a Damn good fire eater, Marinov Duo aerial, foot juggling display, ( Elaine Alex and Hans Klaus) , Limba the wonder Elephant and Co, Hansi's dogs, then as they've said for the past 20 years our so on the RBBB, "Ladies and Gentlemen hold on to your horses, here comes the Globo del Muerte"
Second half
Mixed liberty act, Aerial display (lyra and rings by Sophia and Louisa), leash cat act (black jaguar), Dieter's chair balancing, Bears, Wheel of destiny by Hans Peter Winn, Finale.
This is what I recall of the rundown less the clown gags and Dora the Explorer. I might add, nothing funny about popcorn unless in the possession of Barry Lubin. This group of clowns; I'm not sure what they were doing, but they actually made it quite humorous, come in and all. A couple of them kind of reminded me of a sane version of P. Petowski of the RBBB of days gone by. All in all this show with it's lighting and effects was quite entertaining.

P.S. This showed in a hockey puck arena seating around 3500. Normally they show in the Molson / Bell center with a much larger show seating 17500 which was apparently not available. Show concessions consisted of floss,corn and garbage. Grease joint and drinks were the arena's

Hi Buckles:

I have been sorting out some old photo's from my Mother, Olga's family that I thought might be interesting as a couple are from the 1920's before her Uncles started Astley's Circus in England.

A couple of pictures from their Stage Circus, also their sister Rose that had a House cat act that in 1949 my mother & father took the act over.

Alexis Gruss: I think the greatest living circus horseman.
His Cirque National is perhaps the only in the world still based at 70 per cent on pure equestrian acts.
The quality, quantity and variety of horses in his stables is unbelievable today.
His family master perfectly each classic circus speciality, dance and musical instruments.
In 30 years Mr.Gruss trained, produced and directed every year about a dozen or so of different equestrian acts, each one with original design, written music and specific costumes and a full size live band.
The 2008 show is titled "Orchestra" and is based on the theme of music. In Paris until March.
