as we mourn the passing of Colonel Joe, ran across a kid's painting of Norma Jean, Clark & Walters' star elephant: we toured together in 1971 and Jimmy Silverlake worked Norma Jean and his wife styled the act--NJ was a great and gentle elephant--don't know much about her history but i think she had been around for a while...a real trouper she was--occasionally Brownie, Jimmy';s dad, would work her. |
