Roger: What's that I see coming out from under the bandstand?

Sure looks like the cat chute

I thought sure Roger would have jumped in here by now, "chute" being the operative term.

This was a great wagon. Vic is standing on the tailgate and the sides let down to form the platform for the band.

There was a compartment on the other (front) end that the cally loaded into for jumps.

When Concello built the seat wagons, he used the bases of several existing wagons including this one and thereafter the bandstand was sections of planks on jacks.

It's the tunnel. We need a photo with wider scope to study this set-up. I've never seen it before. To a guy who worked that tunnel, this is very awkward, having the band platform not only over the tunnel, but almost on top of it. We needed unimpeded clearance to chase the cats down, closing off doors one by one to keep them separate and to prevent their spinning back the wrong way and possibly forcing their way back into the arena. This platform looks very much a hazard to safe and effective operation of the doors, and I'm curious as to how the set-up was approved.
