John, maybe you can comment on one of the real greats, Jorgen Christensen. Also, Charlie Moroksi was right up there with great trainers. And, speaking of ponies let's not forget Dick Kohlreiser.

I can't resist.

I bought the Kohlrieser Pony Express and they joined my show, the Yankee Doodle Circus.

On another show the announcer, as a gag, introduced the act as The Prince's Ponies presented by Sir Michael Naughton. LOL LOL LOL

But it gave me an idea so I changed the theme of the act.

The new music was entirely from Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella.

First piece was "Impossible" followed by "Waltz for a Ball" for the waltz of course.

Dick Kohlrieser taught me the act and a few years later John and Mary Ruth Herriott worked with me for 2 weeks to re-routine the act and get me into shape.

What a team of teachers and what a privilege to have that opportunity. Their patience with me was endless.

Valtzaaaaaaaaayyyyyy!

Pack up the harness and back to the castle.

I first saw this operation en route. It was I believe on the Texas dates of old, 67 or 68. From the time I saw the semi rig pull on the lot in San Antonio, TX to the harness and racks all the way down the line was a first class operation and kept up impeccably throughout their performance.
Along side was Bill Bushbaulm, also Johnny Cline's liberty acts.
However I suppose one could look at it another way. Here goes....

I just cant believe that a show could stoop so low as to book a liberty act like this. Look at the gap between number two and number three. Simply deplorable. What kind of a dog and pony and possible goat show is this????

I was there. Once again I must say it was "pretty sharp" and I will always be a big fan.

PS. There very well could be much better liberty acts in Europe that I have not yet seen, never the less I thought this one was great.
