The movie was filmed in 1951 and in theaters in 1952.
With all that free publicity, you would think that '52 would have been a winner but history tells us that the last big season was 1948.

52 was a winner in Beloit, WI, when my dad's service club sponsored them on Labor Day. The show drew 2 straw houses and I mean straw houses.
