Bill Powell said...: This act was presented after Gee Gee retired her Alaskan act in the mid to late 1970's. Mom sold (or gave) her rigging to Sharon Vidbel. Gee Gee was close friends with Al and Joyce and Sharon had an interest in trying her luck at a Husky act.

I never saw the act in action and do not know how it compared to the original. I understand that Sharon did not incorporate Alaskan Malemutes in the act and instead chose to use smaller Siberian Huskies.

I don't know how long Sharon had this act on the road or the success of the presentation. Mom never talked about it much.
