Erik Adams, Sr. played the famed NYC hot spot "The Latin Quarter" owned by wheeler-dealer Lew Walters. Mr. Walters is the father of Barbara Walters of broadcast renown.
Miss Walters tells of growing up in the Latin Quarter as a child and spending many evenings with the technicians in the sound and light boxes in front of the house.
Only the best variety acts played the "club dates" as they were called.
