TIGER-3, originally uploaded by bucklesw1. Later, on board ship, the tiger escapes and makes his way into the ship’s dining room. Crawling through a dumb waiter, Buck enters the dining room and lassos the tiger, which is then pulled back into its cage. The story ends with the tiger safely installed in a zoo. Although Buck was seriously ill when he recorded his lines, his voice comes across as that of a man who is more than capable of facing an enraged tiger and getting the better of him. Unfortunately, by the time the album was released on April 17, 1950, Buck was already dead from lung cancer.
