| The plot follows the book fairly closely. After the tiger attack is reported to Buck, he has a pit dug along the trail that the tiger will most likely use when he returns for second helpings. After a few days, the tiger does return and falls into the pit. Using lassos, Buck and his native helpers are eventually able to restrain him enough so that he can be safely put into a cage. |
