Oh wow! Annother chiffon act! This must be the "all NEW" Edition! I'm sure it was featured by itself in the cavernous arena

Wasn't there a discussion on the blog about Ringling and the hanging of laundry?
A well-known single trap act was booked on this unit and was featured in this aerial presentation. Feld has an escape clause in the contract that allows them to dismiss an act during the rehearsal period. The young lady was dismissed and it was a good act.

Along those lines, I was told that a featured performer in a high wire act fell and broke his arm during rehearsals and that the act should be back in the show in a few weeks.

Is Philippe Petit back on the Red Show?

Yer killin' me, Ron!

I actually thought the chiffon act was well staged...multiple displays with 3 or 4 members each which made it a lot more interesting than the single guy flying around in circles that we've seen for years.

Single chiffon acts are common so I, for one, am pleased to perceive a pair of people presenting.

too bad they ditched the single trap act -- they seem to be getting pretty rare these days whether good or bad. i'm curious about where they even found a single trap act, much less one that is "well-known."
