They can try, but they can't pull one over on you can they. Dion
What is the right term for this...animatronics? It's a Disney thing.
Whatever it is, it deflated in a matter of seconds.
The fake elephant has a nicer blanket and headpiece than the REAL elephants.
Haven't seen this much humbug since the Unicorn.
I neglected to mention that prior to this, an elephant was led around wearing an identical blanket which helped with the illusion.
The real trick was to get asia to lay still long enough to cast the mold....lol...AC
No truck, hay, grain, shoveler, top, people needed, just a little trunk in a wagon. It Nicole going green again!
I haven't been on this sight regularly enough lately to have so much fun. Gee Buckles, I getting as cynical as the master!

Buckles,
Just as the former comment states, I haven’t posted on this site in a long time, but I do read the posts as often as I can. I knew that you would be at the opening last night in Tampa and the comments and photos are great.
I am a fan of magic, but this inflatable elephant gig sounds like it leaves something to be desired. I hope that the tiger being lowered from the ceiling gets all of the kinks worked out before the show gets to Greensboro in February. I already have 2-tickets for my girlfriend and myself, so I guess I won’t have to buy any $12.00 floss. I might save that for the Shrine Circus in Roanoke the last week in January. Maybe the prices will be more reasonable if we take her granddaughter.
You have a terrific site!
But remember folks, that when big name star Harry Houdini presented his vanishing elephant at the NY Hippodrome, it didn't get great reviews, either.
Maybe they should borrow one of those monster trucks from their new shows to replace the golf cart!

These comments remind me of an old clown/illusion bit done on Great American in the mid(?) eighties....
I won't get the details right, but you'll get the idea. An enclosed sedan chair, or was it an outhouse with handles (?) was carried in to center ring (sparing you details here) was shown to the audience as being empty. Then a good-sized show girl was brought in and placed inside, covered, then the usual abracadabra, the cover whisked away and lo the girl had disappeared...segway to intermission, enter ring crew to remove prop...watch ring crew huffing and puffing, to say the least, as they take prop out...gee I wonder where the girl went. Lotta fun to watch.
