Roger Smith said...: BUD: Go to sperdvac@aol.com for your information on Old Time Radio. This is the Society to Preserve and Encourage Radio Drama, Variety and Comedy, thus SPERDVAC. There are many good OTR sites, but this one is a great starting place.

On November 1, 2002, Kim and I took Parley Baer to the SPERDVAC convention in Los Angeles. Upon his introduction, Parley received a 5-minute standing ovation. Thank God we took him. It was his last great recognition. He passed three weeks later, on November 22nd.
