How can you even live through learning a trick like this?? cc
Is this the same guy on BAC? If so, he also does a high unicycle on the slack wire. You can see a clip on You Tube
The performer on Big Apple is Cong Tian, a very warm and soft-spoken individual from Dailian in northern China who was also on the show five years ago for Big Apple’s absolutely superb “Dreams of a City,” one of its finest shows. Cong Tian deservedly won a Silver Clown at Monte Carlo in 2000. At this year's Festival, Li Wei received a prize from the European Circus Association. However, there is a very important difference between Cong Tian's unicycle and the one used in this photo and by others who attempt to imitate Cong Tian's extraordinary feat. The cycle shown here has no seat but rather a U-shaped bar to support each shoulder--a specially prepared device making the trick easier and requiring the performer to exchange his cycle just for this feat. Cong Tian, however, uses the same cycle he rides on the wire that has a normal seat, thus supporting only one of his shoulders and the only "adjustment" he makes is to shorten the height of the seat which is done so smoothly that most viewers do not see the motion.
