I love the British flair for understatement.
From one such book on animal training I have, comes the casual statement, "On occasion an elephant might fetch you a cheeky whallop."

I suppose a cheeky whallop breaks bones while a mere whallop requires somewhat less healing.

Nice execution of the "Tuck & Roll" ...However, I have found....blocking with my size 9 1/2 sneakers....NEVER did much GOOD!.....Jim Zajicek

I have seen a few guys do that VERY SAME TRICK, only the ending was always different.

Curator,
Athletes wear sneakers, you wear clodhoppers, Jethro.
Queenie.

P.S. Regardless of what it looked like that day to everyone else, Gunga Din Cuneo was right. You had tripped, and she was just trying to catch you. The Hall's have had a hard time finding the ring in Evansville ever since, without track lights at the far end. Wade Burck

All you first of Mays can't you see the elephant has lost her footing and the nice man is trying to keep her from falling?

Mr. Burck...."Chuck Taylor All-Stars"
to be EXACT! and the "Commander" was correct in his analysis....Perhaps, if you had a pair...(Instead of those
Boots RBBB had made for you) You, too
would have AVOIDED a mishap in Evansville!.....Jim Zajicek (Buster Brown)

Curator,
"Lucchese Custom" to be exact. RBBB hasn't been able to afford anything like them since the early 80's. Being familiar with the "commanders" backpedaling skill's, you will appreciate his response when asked about the "mishap". When it was pointed out, that, "maybe Wade just tripped, and the tiger was trying to catch him, like the elephant tried to catch Zajicek", without batting an eye, the Commander said, "no, no that's not true, he was really trying to eat Wade".

Haha, was just reading a piece where Roy Horn's favorite tiger was just dragging him to safety (by the neck)because it sensed danger in the audience
