The genes always tell. If you've got Rawls and Frazier genes, you will be a first-class show painter.
Does anyone know of any books about show painting? Bobby Rawls amazed me more than once with his skill, precision, creativity and speed painting trucks. A master of a dying art.
I'm not aware of any books about show painting, but I'd certainly buy one!! Like sideshow banners, well painted/decorated show vehicles is a dying art.
There are a couple of books on sideshow banners; Johnny Meah has one out, I think. But I'm interested in different styles of scrolling, lettering, pictorals, color combos, stuff like that. (I guess I'm waiting for Bobby Rawls to put a book on the market!)
